Nutrients journal goes live, open to all

August 25, 2009

The first issue of a new, peer-reviewed publication called Nutrients, is freely available online; with the emphasis on helping others reproduce the findings.

“Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible,” states the journal. “There is no restriction on the length of the papers. The full experimental details must be provided so that the results can be reproduced.”

Upcoming special issues will focus on: Foodomics 2009; isoflavones and lignans; obesity, nutrition and dietetics; phospholipid nutrition; and sports nutrition

The journal is published by Molecular Diversity Preservation International and is available here .
